So day 6 on The Plan and I am down a full 7 lbs. Today I started up exercising again and started simple with a walk with my neighbor. We did a 35 minute walk. On the plan it says moderate exercise is best, running, weight training or yoga is the least reactive for the majority of people on it. I came home and started scrubbing our lanai cleaning it so hopefully I didn't go overboard. Have had the breakfast and lunch as directed and am testing a wild white fish tonight so I am trying Corvina. Not sure how I am going to prepare it yet. I am really enjoying cooking my meals and the way I feel. I have my energy back again and no headaches. stomach or muscle aches. After looking at the list of reactive foods I can see why I was feeling crappy. 90% of people who have been tested on this have had a reactioin to salmon, shrimp, oatmeal, turkey, asparagus and the list goes on and on. All the foods I thought were healthy are not proving necessarily to be so. So glad I found this! I am learning so much already. I tested good for Rye Crackers yesterday and Cheese was good for me. That's a good start. Who knows what tonight will bring with the white fish test....

So I tested the fish, whitefish, wild caught. Not sure. I had a very minimal weight loss of 1/10 lb. I woke up with a headache, sinus congestion and sneezing so definitely a reaction to something. I had cleaned the lanai furniture with bleach yesterday and I hate bleach so that could be it too. Also I had my first day of exercise since starting the plan so I had a bunch of factors that could have contributed to the symptoms and minimal weight loss. I took a rest day after testing the fish and felt awesome again. I will re test the whitefish on day 9. Today I tested rice cereal. Anxious to see how I come out on this...
Great job! Finding the foods that work for you that you enjoy and are satisfied by is a key factor in losing weight permanently. Find what you like to replace those higher calorie foods for good! Well done!!
You're making excellent progress considering you also have to test food along the way. Looking forward to reading more of your victories!
