Janel: I have Chris's book. I did check though it the other night. I love the plan. It's very hard to follow as a diabetic. I do try very hard to keep my protein high. Last night's split pea soup had 9 g protein per half cup. As well as 9 g fiber and 20 g carbs.. Then, I added in all sorts of veggies. I took some out for me and added bacon to some for my husband. He said he would be a vegetarian if bacon was included! Thanks for the encouragement!
