Simply put, that was awesome. I wish everyone could be supportive of our journeys. Unfortunately, that's not the case. If you get a negative comment, just remember that it's not really about you. It's about them and where they're at. Those with negative stuff to say might be envious of you or scared of trying (and potentially failing) themselves. They may also be afraid commit to spare you. My husband has been praising by hard work since I started losing weight. It wasn't until recently he confessed that he'd been very careful of his wording and always talked about the effort and never the results. He was afraid to put too much emphasis on how great he thought I looked just in case I quit. He didn't want me to feel bad about his comments or like he felt differently about me if I gained it all back. His confession floored me. I'd have never imagined what was going on in his head. So, bask in the praise, slough off the negative, and get back to work!
