Tip 4 - Calories Count so Count Them

I am still figuring out what works for me and what doesn't. One thing I have figured out is that I do better with natural whole foods rather than processed carbs. even white potato or white rice is limited in my diet.

That is for sure! Everyone's body works differently and processes foods differently. I do think that, for me, portion control is also in the equation. (I pam a pasta oholic! We have had this discussion before! I eat till it's gone - way past full to sick!!) NOW When I make whole grain pasta, I cook the whole box. That is 7 servings. Then I get out 7 containers and divide it up. And this is actually kinda nice, I add (using a measuring cup) vegetables to it. Then maybe some parmesan cheese (my favorite seasoning low carb and low calorie) and FREEZE THEM! if you use low carb low calorie vegetables then it's a low calorie meal that's ready to be heated and eaten! YEAH - I don't have to cook everynight!! (and rice works just as well!)
