I also have PCOS, but I wasn't diagnosed until I was 31. Knowing when you are young is probably better. Luckily for me, I never wanted kids, so I don't have to worry about the fertility side of things. But I can certainly relate to the metabolism and glucose frustrations. But don't give up! The weight will come off, it's just going to be a little harder than average. Regular exercise, even small stuff, really helps me. And if you want kids, plenty of people who have PCOS have been able to overcome it through diet, and/or hormonal intervention.
