Why am I doing this?

What is my goal here? 

What's the point?

 

When things get challenging I find myself asking these big questions. What is the point of all my hard work?

The answer is sometimes simple and sometimes a little bit complex. My top motivations are in a list below. 

 

1. I want to feel confident in my own skin and good about about my body. 

2. I want my body to be a reflection of who I am.

3. I am my first priority- no one is going to put me first except me. It is my responsibility to be sure I feel good. (I am taking care of myself). 

4. Being fit and in shape makes me feel unstoppable

 

These are my main motivations. Of course tied in to some of them are the superficial "I want to look good" etc. but there is nothing wrong with wanting to look good. It is a very human desire that we all experience. For the most part though, my motivation is internal and powered by my desire to be better, stronger and happier.
