To Jose:
How on earth do you eat fried chicken? If I look at fried food I will put on weight, let alone if I eat it. I have eliminated all fats except for a tiny bit of olive oil, which is good for our bones and joints.
Another thing:
My husband keeps buying ice cream tubs and eats ice cream every evening. That too! If I look at it I gain weight. Incidentally he loses weight. I just cannot understand this. I exercise more than him, eat less and lose weight much slower. Puzzled!

To emphasize, I do a 35/45/20 split on my macros, I take a multivitamin as well as fish oil and some other supplements (greens and glutamine after I workout as well as at least one protein shake a day) to help sustain the right balance and also to help keep me from too much snacking on things that have little nutritional value, IE cookies, candy, etc.
Also it's easier for me to get protein in if I don't have to always eat it and protein shakes contain less fat than a steak or ground beef. Hope that helps.

Yes it does help quite a lot. Thank you so much. I think that my carbs intake is more than it should be.
