How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m using the Lose It! App to track my calories and protein and what not. I’m trying really hard to hit my protein goal. Will that alone help me lose weight?

I’m lost.

If you like cabbage, my favorite way to start this is to do the cabbage soup diet by divas can start. It’s a good body cleanse that makes it easier to start eating healthy and after the week you slowly start adding other foods back in! It’s hard to stick to it but it’s worth it when you do.

I've found that eating whole foods works best for me. I focus less on calories and fat and more on eating fruits and veggies and lean protein. Contrary to a previous comment, protein is a good source of prolonged energy, better than carbs, but you should only eat about 3-4 ounces as a portion. That's what works for me, anyway. Good luck!
