How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Happy Wednesday!

One thing many of us struggle with is an all-or-nothing mentality.

For some of us (like me) this type of thinking leads to the same weight loss and re-gain over and over, when our goal is to lose it and keep it off once and for all. Consistency is hard but building healthy habits can really help!

I can suggest a few tips and would love to hear what's worked for you. Let's discuss!

Track your food - all of it no matter what! It's great for accountability and even makes you realize that one bad day will not ruin your progress as much as you fear.

Think progress, not perfection. Don't be hard on yourself, keep your eye on your long term goals and don't stress when things are less than perfect. Keep going, and never give up!

Moderation! Are you feeling deprived? If so, find a way to enjoy what you want, in moderation.

Plan ahead! Having an overall plan, and checking in regularly so you're ready for whatever comes your way really helps keep you on track.

Identify weaknesses. Work to identify problem areas and make a plan to conquer them once and for all. Let us know if you need suggestions!

Move more. Moving your body and strength training are both fun and healthy! Find activities that you enjoy so you'll look forward to it!

Drink your water! Make sure you're staying hydrated. We often confuse thirst for hunger, so this can help keep you on track.

I've struggled with the all or nothing mindset for a long time. These games help me focus on the long term goal and changing how I think about food and working out.

Love this :heartpulse: I'm working on all of it too :relaxed:
