How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hit my goal and down another pound! A little nervous bc we have a big hiking trip the end of this week and I know I'm going to be soooo sore and probably retaining some water because of that. A little worried that I won't weigh in at my goal because of that. While it isn't about that, it'd be nice to get my money back!

Going to focus on lots of water and veggies and protein and just let it be whatever it's going to be.

What are you hiking?

You have a little bit of a buffer for time. I find I am up after a big activity for 1-2 days by day three I see a very motivating loss.

Drink lots of water. I've been liking Kombucha for an after hike or ride beverage when everyone else is enjoying a parking lot beer - that's my downfall, as it leads to snacking, more beers and comfort food eating the next day.

Also - over the last few years I've found I don't really need to eat that much to keep myself going on a hike - I really like single serve nut packets, Olive or pickle packets, mini protein bars like go macro and energy chews (pro bar or honey stinger brand). If it's a really big day I'll do wraps with PB and banana or hummus and veggies, hard boiled eggs).
- if it's going to be warm where you are stash some fruit (watermelon, grapes, apples) in a cooler in your car for when you are done.

Have Fun :)

Also remember to hydrate and up your protein for a day or two after your hike to help with soreness!
