So, I used to make egg muffins (scrambled eggs with veggies and cheese in muffin tins) and oatmeal bars for breakfast. Ilana’s breakfast loaf is soooo much easier! I portion it out for five days and have brekkie for the week. Right now I am combining with instant low sugar oatmeal with a tb of almond butter or a whole grain English muffin with the nut butter. Breakfast game changer!!! Full til lunch for the first time ever! Great last two weeks!

  • For some reason, I’ve been super exhausted lately. Got up pretty late today, but managed to get in a 15 min workout. Listened to my superblock video and am two bottles into my 7 bottle goal :)

  • I am so grateful for the post from Christina S the other sharing her chocolate courgette (zucchini for my American friends) shake. I went to the shop today specifically to get some courgettes for this and it didn't disappoint! It'll be a nice change from my usual tropical spinach smoothie (spinach, pineapple, coconut milk, honey, vanilla protein).

    Plus since I bought extra in case I didn't get it quite right first time for my taste (which I did), I got to make zoodles to have with the leftover meatballs from my son's dinner.

    If anyone has any other courgette/zucchini recipes they enjoy please do share them!

    Also sweaty mess after today's run....kept the distance low but pushed my pace. Kiddo decided he was too tired for his class today, but I made sure to still get a planned run in (I was going to go during his class).

Ilana calls them frowoahs! I’m the US we call have “froyo, fro-yo” which stands for frozen yogurt, so this is a play on froyo. But they are delicious! I love an afternoon frowoah! I also sometimes do a scoop of my protein powder into a bowl of plain Greek yogurt: Ilana calls things like that wonder whips. She’s got a bunch of recipes for frowoahs and wonder whips that are really great for an afternoon sweet tooth and pack a huge protein punch!

  • Watched week 3 day 2 superblock, have my tracker ready, got in a workout and am two bottles into my personal gallon challenge. I can do this! 2.5 pounds and I win this challenge!

  • Overate yesterday. At least it was veggies and protein most, so I didn’t gain! I’d like to be losing tho…but i tried, tracked, and saw, and now I know what not to do today. RT 150!!

Shannon, RT is an Ilana-ism. It means “route to” and it’s your next two-pound goal. My next two pound goal is 150, so I’m reminding myself to be solidly on the route to 150! :)

  • Not a wlw, but better than it could’ve been! Considering a win that I weighed in everyday and am getting in my water. I had veggies most yesterday, even when I didn’t want to, and skipped the glass of wine I was thinking about in favor of a seltzer. Got back to the superblock week 2 today, and now I got my workout in, too. Gonna see that RT on the scale this week!
