Tracy, I love to buy
Cucumbers and baby carrots to snack on
Zucchini (to freeze for shakes)
Lettuce/spinach for salads
Cherry tomatoes
Bell peppers (mini or different colors)
Avocado
Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli to oven do roasted veggies.
Red onions (to make into pickled red onions!)
That’s a start!
You can do a spaghetti squash too!

Well, yesterday was day 1 and it started well, had dinner plans with the girls and planned my meal in advance. They are non drinkers so alcohol free, usually makes for better choices. My ex fiancé was at the restaurant 😬, made my evening much more tense and when I got home I drank too much wine and hit the Halloween candy. Tired this morning from too much sugar at bedtime but feeling motivated to eat well and move my body today.

I was in the hospital for a few days with a small bowel obstruction. This is not a good way to loose weight. I am regaining my appetite and I am afraid I will fall back into bad habits. Tonight I am going to stick with dinner and done ✅ I am determined to win this diet bet and looking forward to being 8lb lighter.

You are in control of your choices. If you don't want to fall into bad habits, make different choices. It's hard, but you can do it if you really want to!

My obstruction cleared an hour after contrast via NG tube was administered during imaging. Dr felt surgery was not necessary at this time. He did give me recommendations for water intake, fiber foods, miralax or Metamucil. The pain was awful and I had projectile vomiting which has subsided. Feeling better every day and my appetite has increased.

  • Today I walked 2 miles to Lake Michigan to get rocks for my daughter's Halloween project and then carried them back (very heavy) back to my parking spot.

    Hydration could have been better.

    Diet was good!!

    Dinner and done was hard, but I did it!!

My yogurt bowl is non fat Greek yogurt, fruit and keto granola from Costco. My wrap has tuna fish with one tablespoon of mayo, Greek yogurt, and olive oil to make it moist.
