    If you struggle to stay on track over the weekend, then now is the time to make a plan for yourself. It's all about being prepared and making wise choices. Don't feel deprived, feel empowered!

    Tips for a Healthy Weekend:
    -Plan ahead - So important to be prepared for whatever comes your way!
    -Drink your water - Hydration can ease hunger and help you feel satiated
    -Keep moving - It feels great and burns calories!
    -Moderation - Don't over do the food and drinks
    -Relax - Stress can lead to overeating. Take some time for yourself!
    -Sleep - We need our sleep and it aids our weight loss efforts!
    -Have fun!

    The weekend is also a great time to do some meal planning and prep for the week. Head to the grocery store and stock up on healthy options to have on hand.

    Have fun and make choices that will make you happy when you step on the scale on Monday! You've got this!

    Exercise is an important aspect of staying healthy! The saying "use it or lose it" is very true and every little bit counts! I prefer working out at home - either using my walking pad or finding a workout on YouTube (there are TONS to choose from!)

    Do you change your exercise routine based on the season? If the weather is getting nicer where you are, will you move your routine outdoors? Let us know how you're staying active today!

First timer here and have a question…if you hit your goal weight before the end date, take photos with the requirements & submit, that will count right? Obviously weight fluctuates based on numerous factors especially for women…so lets say March 31 i hit my goal weight of 150…but on april 6th im 152…will i be rejected as a winner?

You have to be at goal weight or lighter on weigh in date between April 6-8 I think they give you 36 or 48 hours after to submit weigh in

Hi Ruth! That's a great question! The rules require you to be at your goal weight during the final weigh-in window which is April 7 - April 8 for this game. If you reach your goal early - that's amazing! You will just need to maintain until the final weigh-in period. Good luck!

  • Anyone else starting the post-partum healing journey? Baby boy is 3 months and I finally feel up to making some changes! My toddler keeps me busy, but I'm hoping some diet changes will help me make my health goals.

My weight is an absolute yoyo, and I know it's my doing. Every time I lose a little, I regain a lot. Literally weighed in today, then ate a bunch of carbs, chocolates and the like, so I've already gained

Sometimes I do that because I self sabotage. Remind yourself what you would like for yourself and what is your goal. Keep it in front of you. And journal when you feel low and catch yourself before you start spiraling. Or use journaling to pick yourself up after a bad day or week of eating. I have been up and down the same few kilos the past few months and almost years. But no point in beating yourself up. Be your own best supporter!

    I don’t know about you, but it is finally starting to feel like spring where I am, and I am SO thankful! It has been a LONG winter! This is such a great time of year for a fresh start and a new game. I hope you can all get outside at some point today and enjoy a little bit of sunshine!

Grace, where are you from out of curiosity? Spring is teasing us here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, too, because that first day of the DB, it was 66*!!!! Super warm! It started out in the 20s that morning... we had 2 snow days last week... :laughing: the weather is all over this time of year. But after the 60s, it went back down to 20s and 30s. I CAN NOT wait for Real Spring.

Guys I finished a bet on the 3rd and today on the 9th I did my initial weigh in and I’m up almost 7 pounds. I drank my water, I stuck to my fasting window, and I ate healthy whole foods for the most part. I’m guessing it’s water weight, but I am absolutely devastated.

Eat a ton of protein! Stay away from sugar and carbs. Or at least very little. We like to eat a little bit of carbs ( small amount of rice or pasta) with our protein before working out because it gives you energy. After the gym meat and veggies. It's what you eat that will help with weight loss way more than going to the gym. If your nutrition isn't good it will be pointless going to the gym. Don't starve your body. Eating more of the good food( smaller portions throughout the day) is the key ticket.

I have been intermittent fasting for about 8 months and have lost 70 pounds total. It works for me. Thank you for mentioning stress and hormones. Both were off the chart this past week. Good insights.
