How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

This is day 6 of tracking every bite. I'm still not a fan, but I like that I can compare my daily weigh-in to exactly what I ate the day before, along with calories, fat, protein, and carbs.

I find that counting macros and planning meals allows me to make better choices and be mindful about every bite I put in my body.

I also added back a daily dose of miralax in a small Gatorade zero because I have an issue with constipation, and my gastro doc said it was fine to take daily. I think that might have been a part of why my weight fluctuates so much.

Going by Ilana's advice of drinking 16 oz water before every meal has also helped with cravings and fills me up.

I am a little frustrated (but not discouraged) that the scale isn't down more from yesterday, even though I had fewer than 900 calories.

I am hyper focused on reaching my Xmas goals!

It is different for everyone but when i eat too little, the scale doesn’t drop. It’s like if my body says eat more or i will retain everything! Also if you are active you must fill you’re muscle and brain! I would try a little more calories a couples days to see what the scale is doing!!

That was the lowest day. It's my busy season at work, so I've been working 7 days a week (at a desk), and unfortunately, I have not had time to workout. With all the water, I wasn't hungry. But I'll continue to track and listen to my body.
