How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

With only a couple days left, I just wanted to come on here and say that this will probably be my first and last diet bet I ever do. It was a great learning experience but from my personal journey, my body doesn’t lose pounds in such a short amount of time regardless of being in a calorie deficit and working out daily and that’s okay! I’m no longer interested in letting the scale influence how I feel about myself. These past few weeks have taught me so much about taking care of my body in more ways than one. I not only went back to the gym and joined fun workout classes again but I’ve been so consistent with tracking calories and staying in a deficit than ever before and have gained self control around food. Doing my body scan today at the gym and I can already feel that I probably gained a bit of muscle mass even though my weight has stayed the same because of how much better I feel. So I’m just on here to say, don’t let the scale deter you from reaching your nonscale goals!! Best wishes to you all on your journey! 💕

It sounds like you are doing great, even if you don’t make your DietBet goal. It’s definitely more important to find healthy habits you can stick with!
