Non-scale victory of the week!

we had a fantastic ten day expedition cruise in Svalbard and just got back. I ate less than I did in December on the same ship in Antarctica. However no visit to the gym in the shop. I have made a goal for all Kickstarter games I had entered just before our holiday but has been a big of struggle to maintain my goal weight. I know this is a life long journey for healthier, happier and fitter me so will continue to enjoy the journey with DietBet!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have done a bit of exercise on the ship. However I did walk a lot before and during the cruise (no choice)!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Stay focused and no need to panic or upset if I gain a little. My BMI is already comforrably in a healthy zone.

Non-scale victory of the week!

It has been hectic, however, packing for our holiday are almost done. I am looking forward to see the Arctic Circle and Iceland. I have gained weight since the last weigh-ins but it was expected with no running or HIIT last week as well as treating myself with food I had not had for a while and love. Hope to behave myself with food on the coming cruise and a few days here and there but also I am going to enjoy our holiday, every second of it!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

During our expedition cruise and stay in Norway and Iceland, I hope to eat moderately while enjoying local delicacies. I expect lots of walking so hopefully while I am taking a break from training (running, HIIT and Yoga), I will keep my fitness reasonably well while giving my body a rest from a daily routine.

Non-scale victory of the week!

My last Transformer has recently ended and then now this Kickstarter (for now, anyway ...!) It has been a literally ‘transforming’ 15 months. My weight is still go up and down and a 10 day cruise is coming very soon. Maintaining a healthy weight, keep fit, healthy eating, etc. are all a life-time journey and it should be an enjoyable one. I am determined to continue enjoying this path and thank you for all your support to DietBet / StepBet and RunBet referees.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Not much. I wanted to make sure to maintain my goal weight before our holiday (so I can keep my jeans size 26) and I am pleased with achieving this goal.

Non-scale victory of the week!

It has been over two weeks since we started our voyage in Falkland Islands, South Georgia and Antartica. I have been eating a little more than usual but overall I am pleased with the progress. I am still running / power walking on the treadmill in the fitness room on the ship even when the sea is rough.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Eat less dessert.

Stay focused and eat what I really need and enjoy. But also enjoy this once in a lifetime voyage. We are also going to camp in Antarctica next week!
