Oh my - turns out I was a lot more active this last month while on jury duty. Now that I’m back at work, I’ve realized just how little I get up and walk around. I went from walking about 5 miles a day at the courthouse to 2 miles max.

I’m focusing this week on finding creating ways to bring movement into my life during the workday. Started using the bathroom upstairs instead of the one next to my office, which is a great start. Next is incorporating small breaks away from my desk with the end goal of eventually taking a walk or going for a bike ride during those breaks.

Love the idea of using the bathroom that's further away! Not only would I get more stairs in but those extra trips throughout the day will really add steps!
