I feel for you! I remember those school stresses, and feel like I sound like a crazy oldie for saying this now, but I really promise that in the long run one "late" assignment doesn't matter or even one bad test grade, they don't stick with you. So you are completely on the right tract for keeping your inner peace right now :-). Also, as a professor now, I have to be tough on late assignments on principle, but good work over all can easily trump that, and in the long run I end up not holding it against students. I could be a big softy though, lol!

Hi Kirst,It's nice to hear from another classical musician! I am a professional orchestral musician and private instructor at a university. I completely understand the pressure you are under...it's not like any other major or career. I can tell you from the professional standpoint that this does not change when you are out of school! The best thing you can do for yourself to sustain the pressure is to take care of your physical and mental health. The demands on us are unparalleled. And yes, we still cannot be late to rehearsal lol!
