I was very proud of myself for my choices yesterday and being much more conscious of my BLTs. I went for a walk and did some interval running the last half mile. I was a big runner BC (before children) so not much running has happened in over 11 years. It actually felt pretty good. But! I’m up half a pound today!! I got more sleep, lots of water, early dinner…it is tempting to say screw it!!! But I went to sit down and realized how sore I am! I’m not going to let it get me back to old habits. But honestly since turning 40 the scale doesn’t respond like it use to!!!

I feel like this all the time! Since I started this challenge I have been close to perfect and lost 6 pounds but I feel like crap and I have no idea why. I am not sleeping better, don’t have endless energy from
Not drinking, etc. I am like WTF? Thought I would feel Way better. Tempting to just give up!!

You’ve got this! You can do it!

Happy weekend!!
Yall have been so helpful on here and I really appreciate you all. I am drinking my water and eating my veggies. I have been eating good and working out 3/4 times a week. Im losing weight but at a very slow rate. 2 pounds in 2 weeks but i still need to lose 4 more pounds. What can you all suggest to speed up the weight loss?

I would check your body fat %. You might be losing fat and, at the same time, putting on muscle. This is good but does not reflect on the scale. Remove as many bad vegetable and seed oils as possible, especially if it is hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated. Up the protein intake. Make sure your carbs are not processed carbs. Check the label. High-fructose corn syrup is the worst offender. Almost everything that ends in 'ose' that isn't sucrose, glucose, or fructose is probably a processed carb. The higher up the label it is, the more there is. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and recovery. Recovery after a workout is more important than the actual workout.

What type of working out are you doing? Walking every day, at least thirty minutes, will help pounds melt. That’s in addition to working out
