I used to be the same way. Now that I'm not, it's a huge difference on the scale. Instead of looking at the weekend as a chance to "indulge," I now look at it as a chance to exceed my step goals. I think that helps me a lot, because I walk outside, normally around our local high school grounds, because nobody is around. I walk. And walk. And walk. And you know what? If you're outside walking a bunch you can't be inside eating. And by the time you get home from all that walking, you are feeling too motivated to blow it. So maybe if you could find new intentions to replace the bad ones?

I am a visual person. I have found putting a big check mark on the calendar for days that I work out very satisfying. Doesn't matter what kind of workout as long as I break a sweat. I've also noticed those check marks like to hang out together. More and more of them appeared once I got into the swing of things.

Les - They are for me. I think it may be I loose interest when there isn't that fast successful conclusion. So I need to learn how to keep with it for the duration I think. Thoughts?
