Hey Becky! I use the myfitnesspal app on my phone to track my calories. You enter your weight and daily activity level and it calculates how many calories you can eat every day. Currently im 288lbs and can eat 1620 calories a day. I have my activity level set to "sedentary" and it puts it at a lower calorie limit. If your more active every day you can set it higher. With that amount of calories I really struggle, cause I looove food, but by cutting out chips and soda it helps, cause I just eat more fruit and veggies. To get more calories allotted to me to eat when Im really hungry I exercize. I use the zumba dance 2 fitness game for the Wii. I have customized dance playlists I do and you can also enter your weight on the game and it will tell you how many calories you burn after you complete your workout. So the combo of the myfitnesspal app and my zumba game calorie tracker make it super simple to keep me on track with how much I eat, so I make sure Im burning more calories than I'm consuming. Its all about creating a calorie deficit, because the calories in food Im alotted each day naturally burns off as I go about my day, so if you eat less or exercize it helps. I also have some small hand weights I use occasionally. Oh, and I have been trying to drink a milk jug worth of water every day. I read in a book about "carb cycling" that when your trying to lose weight you need to drink your weight ÷2 in fluid ounces. So i weigh 288, I should be drinking 144 fl oz of water a d
