I hope so----doing my official weigh-in tomorrow morning. It's been a rough few weeks lifewise, but I think I maintained.

Haha---I was just writing on your profile before I saw this. I am actually in 3 games---I think I should hit my goal weight well before 6 months, but I want to make sure I don't get too cocky because I really want to keep it off once and for all! Good luck to you too!

OK!!! It's AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! We can now FOCUS ON OURSELVES AND DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO (dammit). Yep, I'm re-committing and re-focusing and returning to healthy ways after indulging a little too much for Christmas. It's time to turn that page ... HELP ME DO IT. DIETING TECHNICAL TIP: Don't forget that *as you lose weight, the amount you should be eating each day DIMINISHES." If you are using MyFitnessPal or a similar tool, RECALCULATE YOUR CALORIC INTAKE GOAL from time to time -- at least every 10 pounds or so. This can be CRITICAL as an element of 'plateauing.'I just re-calculated mine, and the new goal number was almost 100 calories less per day!

I don't actually count calories anymore as the numbers are not reliable. I eat whole foods plant-base---no processed foods and no added oils. I know when I'm at a plateau it's time to start upping the greens again!

That's a FINE strategy! Very cool! You'd fit right in with my yoga class friends. Though I do indeed track the calories as a good rough guide (I don't expect exactitude), like you I avoid the processed foods, and stay with organic fare. It really DOES make a big difference in how you feel, doesn't it?
