I sympathize with you, I have several more lbs to lose for the next 2 weeks, and I started getting very hungry yesterday. We had mushroom ravioli with butter for dinner, and about 30 minutes later my stomach was gnawing with hunger. I had a cup of tea. 20 minutes later still hungry, got a small piece of cheese. Next thing I know I had eating 2 oz of cheddar (no crackers etc). Later I was still hungry, had a glass of water, and ended up eating part of a coconut chocolate bar, was one of those fancy bars where you break off squares, and I managed to only eat one row, whereas in the past I may have finished the whole bar. When I went to bed I was over on calories for the day, disappointing, need to find other healthy snacks to eat when the calorie deficits get to me. I had stopped purchasing junk, the cheese and coconut bar were already in the house, found the bar last week when going thru a drawer. Definitely helps if you don't have this stuff in the house.
Have you tried changing anything else? Sometimes could be something else needed to combine with your calorie restriction, more sleep? More water? Less salt? Certain times of the month also just get bloated, can make it feel like no progress, then a few days later you can see the progress on the scale, hormones changing thru the month..
