I have been arguing with myself to record my food each day.  I hate doing it, especially the time it takes to calculate the calories.  When I have kept written records in the past, I would eat the same foods over and over just because I didn't want to take the time to figure out the nutritional value of other foods.  I think I need to bite the bullet and start recording my foods.   I haven't been recording my foods yet this year.  The best benefit for me to writing it down:  When I have to record it, I oftentimes don't eat the food, simply because I don't want to take the time to figure out the calories and nutrional content.  Thus I eat less.  The downside to this:  no variety in my food.  

Does anybody out there have any tried and true suggestions for doing this simply and easily?  Please reply with your suggesitons.
