What I have learned is you have to take it one day at a time and gradually decrease. For example, if you are drinking 8 sodas a week go down to 7 and gradually decrease. If you love chocolate, workout 3-4 days a week and then on Friday or Saturday reward yourself with a candy bar. To your surprise you may not even eat the whole bar. So go easy on yourself and gradually decrease!
