I'm sorry to hear about your heartbreak. I know the feeling all too well. I think a lot of do. And many of us resort to the "comfort" foods like chocolate, candy, ice cream, etc. A bf I had last year dumped me out of the blue one week after he took me to Hawaii for my 30th bday. I gained 15 pounds over the next several months through my depression (especially being single during the holidays).Just remember to stay strong. Take your stress and sadness out on exercise maybe. I try to do that instead of binge eating and smoking. I'll go for a 15-min walk or something. And I'm glad that you will have your family around you. That always helps.
