Okay it's been one full week and all I have managed to do wasgain 2.2 lbs. I fire has been lit under my ass now! I have to lose 9lbs in 3 weeks!
Every day I have failed at meal planning because "something" comes up. One day it's my boss buys us lunch, one day my friend throws a huge party (I could've been better- I ate 1/4 a pizza slice and guac and chips), another day it's VALENTINE'S DAY- ugh.
Yesterday after I saw that I was still 157 I sabotage and ate a huge breakfast. At first I was like, there's no way I can eat all that. And I DID. So then I was feeling very sloth like and knew this was the food and it wasn't me. So I drank some water and forced myself to get active. Once I was active I couldn't stop. It was great!
From 10am-3pm I scrubbed the bathroom floor on my hands and knees. I scrubbed every centimeter... the toilet, the piping, even the radiator, and I packed everything but what we need for the move.
I was already drenched in sweat and my legs were giving out. But at 3pm I started the laundry, I did 4 loads, folded it all and put it all away. I apcked some of our towels for the new place and donated the ones that are getting old. Then, I immediately moved onto the kitchen. I sorted through allllllll of our tuperware, packed what we don't need, I cleaned all our kitcehn gadgets, packed what we don't need, and then dun dun dun I scrubbed our god awful floor (between the stove and the fridge).
People of dietbet, my kitchen floor is so old that the white is tainted yellow. I've steamed the floors (they get clean but they stay yellow as if someone was a smoker and forever tainted the kitchen floor). It's absolutely disgusting and not soemthing I noticed until after I moved in. I used Bronner's organic peppermint soap. Holy FUCK that's the ONLY PRODUCT that took away the yellow tint under the stove and frdige! I had to use a scrubbed and put my body weight on it and scrub like a maniac just to get some of it out- but it came out! Today my arms are so sore I can't lift them, and my legs are all cramped up and sore too. I feel good and the place looks good FOR ONCE
I really enjoy using deep cleaning as exercise bc I actually get something done and can see progress in a different light than being hypersensitive to my body. I cleaned for 9 hours straight. I don't know if I burned many calories but then I went out and got chinese with chris. I order chicken with broccoli and said to put the sauce on the side, then didn't add it. I didn't eat any of the chocolate Chris bought me but I drank beers with him- so that's probably where my weight gain is. I told him I don't want to drink beer for awhile and he agreed it was a good idea.
So I want to kick up my protein a notch. Idk what to add to my eggs- I guess 3 eggs should suffice. But for lunch I'm thinking of making a "tuna egg salad" that consists of mashed up hard boiled eggs, black beans, and tuna. I am also going to keep individually bagged skinless chicken breasts in the fridge all week, so when I come home I can throw that in the oven, make a veggie, and have a high protein dinner in no time. Does anyone know of any really high protein quick meals?
