Today has been a rough one … yesterday I planned for a dinner out … I walked a total of 4.5 miles and eat a very healthy breakfast (300 calories) and a salad for lunch. I still had 1000 calories for the day to eat a dinner out. I didn’t go overboard with the dinner (did have a glass of sangria) so when I got on the scale today and it was almost a full pound higher it killed me. I know that I didn’t eat 4000 Plus calories at dinner to gain 1 lb of weight. I’m sure that its water weight but still it’s discouraging. I have been really good today food wise and have walked 3.25 miles so hopefully tomorrow the scale will do down again. I know your weight fluctuates and weighing in every day there will be some ups and downs …. Just trying to use this up as motivation to keep going!

You're doing all the right things and you just stick with it ... it WILL pay off for you. Truly. These daily fluctuations will kill you if you pay any attention to them at all ... I take the common advice to weigh in only ONCE PER WEEK really seriously, because there are SO MANY variables that will make you bounce around day-to-day, and throughout the day. It's always 'Weigh-In Wednesday Mornings" only, for me ... good for you with that GREAT walk, and that HEALTHY eating, and dang it just feel GOOD about yourself for that! :D
