Make sure you are eating things like protein that help your body recover, and make sure you are resting to give yourself time to recover. I'm just starting to be more active too, and the harder I push myself the more I ache. But there is sore and there is injured. Sore is progress; it goes away if you rest and give yourself the nutrients to heal. Injured usually results in a visit to the doctor. I am trying to learn to listen to my body. Not just about food intake, but about training. Good luck!
