How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi Everyone! Getting in a bit late but hoping I can make my goal this month. I have several years of dietbets some good mostly not. This time I want to stay engaged and committed and make all my goals!

Any tips for turning around a long gaining streak? My last successful weight loss attempt was about 20 lbs in 2021 which I maintained for a year or so and then slowly crept back up to my high weight last year. The challenge is mental and emotional but also physical I believe. Giving in to cravings and then needing to eat more to feel satisfied because foods you crave are never very nutritious for your body. So you eat more. My best success has always been sticking to whole food and mostly plant based.

Exactly Sarah! I always burn out at some point and then there are boxes piled up in every corner and the dining room table is unusable for weeks! Good luck on couch to 5K! I've tried that in the past and it was too much for me. I am focusing on walking and weight training right now but as soon as I feel a bit stronger I'm going to start running too! It's always been my favorite thing to do.

Good luck Anna! I think that's exactly right! No more all or nothing mentality!
