  • Went to the gym last night (yay!) and discovered that all movement is high-intensity for me. LOL I was sweating buckets!

    I did a little warm-up on the treadmill with some good tunes, leg-press, calf-raises, abductor/adductor, leg-curl, and on my final machine, attempted leg extensions. NO BUENO!! One of my knees did NOT like that. I am able to extend in front of me (and flex the quad) without weight, but with the addition of weight it was too painful.

    Then I BINGED when I got home. My son made tofu fried rice and I was tired and hungry and angry about my knee and just had no willpower left.

    One step forward - gym. One step back - unplanned caloric overload.

Great advice! So important to move on and focus on the positives. Way to go and thanks for the reminder!

Just make sure that you try to get that under control because many times adding exercise can get people to subconsciously think they can take in a lot more when in truth that's not the case and can derail your weight loss program. But good job on getting in there.
