How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

A few weeks ago I switched to riding my bicycle to work. My legs are getting shaplier, but it doesn't affect my weight. It's the food I eat that affects my weight. I'm going to try to just eat at 9am and 3 pm and skip dinner.

Muscle doesn't weigh more. Muscle is denser than fat. Food definitely affects weight much more than movement; hence, the adage, "You can't exercise away a bad diet."

Also, when you exercise, you're creating microtears in the muscles, and your body retains water to repair the tears. This is how muscle is built. The water retention is minimal.

Intermittent fasting, skipping meals, etc., can benefit if you are watching calories and eating well.

Intermittent fast can be a game changer. I normally do a 16/8 when fasting, but for a good push I do I 20/4. I really watch my sodium intake also. I strength train 3 days a week and 90-120 minutes of Pickleball 3 days a week, but to really have success, it’s all about your way of eating. Good luck, you got this!
