You are so sweet, and you do write very well. That sounds like a really awesome Bible study - I always, always struggle with putting my trust in the Lord and turning to Him rather than wordly things like food. And you have such a good point about foods being a reward. I totally pray I keep things like that in mind when raising my kids. I see me doing this already with my son...eeeek. :( And I understand soooo much about this being yet another attempt at the lifestyle change. You and me both. But this time it will happen. I just know it. We will stick to it and live happier, healthier lives!

Hi...i joined last week. I am loving these blogs. I am glad you are making a good choice and re-wiring your thoughts. I too come from a similar family. It is a battle and life style change....easier said then done. I have cravings...I have to work at. I am hoping this helps me stay accountable. My sis lost 40 lbs....here....she is Keto (8 years younger then me)...which is similar as atkins. I also listen to lots of podcasts...to retrain my brain....food is fuel....and really medicine....it prevents/lowers health problems....Best of Luck...and beautiful baby
