A simple steak cooked in the air fryer, topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms. With a side of veggies and 1/2 of a small baked potato. My fave quick healthy meal.

My favorite weight loss tip is water and fasting. For a busy parent it’s easier eliminate then meal prep. However be careful, a long fast can reduce patience :)

Anyone else emotionally eat? I tragically lost my big brother 9/20 in a motorcycle accident, he was 33 years old and had a full life ahead of him. I somehow made it through his services this week and managed to still lose a pound. I allowed myself to eat when I felt hungry and was mindful of my portions. I didn’t hit my macros like I wanted, didn’t track anything, and definitely didn’t make my water goals. Goes to show that portion control in general is a huge factor.

I do a lot of emotional eating. I spent almost two months with my dad in the hospital and some days, a sweet treat was the one good thing I have. You're grieving an awful, terrible thing that happened. Id try to give myself grace and not focus on weight loss right now. If there's some comfort coming from food right now, I think it's okay.
