I'm right there with you! Eight years ago, I lost 60 lbs. Over the pandemic lock downs and stressors, I put most of it back on. This time around, it's harder to lose it.

  • Workout done a double today wrapped up week 1 of sure thing and wrapped up week 3 of Lava.

    I’m so proud of myself first weekend on point with nutrition and thank goodness for the call with Ilana and her explanation about pizza parties.

    A beautiful weekend with lots of outdoor activities and yesterday a baby shower for my niece and everyone was eating all the fried appetizers and treats so many people kept telling me but you can have some but not me. They had a beautiful salad filled my plate with that , chicken and added home made beans to the salad and I even skipped the cake didn’t want to mess up the 1.5
    lb that I dropped. A win ! 🏆

Remember that your palate is fully capable of changing according to the foods you choose to eat. Your cravings will noticeably subside, and foods you used to enjoy will soon lose their luster. Nothing is better than how the right foods make you feel - that feeling lasts and tells your brain to crave those foods instead. Veggies are by far the most satisfying thing for me to eat! I literally feel more alive during and long after!

Roasted veggies are my favorite. I love how I can eat them with pretty much anything. I know this works because I did it for 2 years before hit hard with being sick. I had a hard time bouncing back. It’s the chips. I can eat a whole bag of any kind of chip by myself. The cravings haven’t totally gone away yet. :pensive:
