I'm curious, what kind of plan is everyone using for weight loss? Myself I am using intermittent fasting as well as tracking my calorie intake. Seems to be working well... not too worried about the holidays as those gatherings are in my eating window - yay!

I track my macros using macrofactor. I like it because it calculates your caloric expenditure based on what you eat and how much weight you lose. It takes a few weeks of consistency for it to get more accurate. But it doesn't use any activity entry to calculate. As your activity goes up or down it will show up in your weight loss and thus your expenditure will reflect that. I am an athlete, so eating well and often is important to me to properly fuel my efforts.

My doctor wanted me to cut my animal protein in half trying to get my cholesterol down. I don’t eat a lot of meat anyway so not a problem for me. I have substituted some of my protein with powdered protein. It’s all a learning curve for me. I try to eat no later than 7 pm. I prefer earlier, husband prefers 7 or later.
I have increased vegetables, fruit and some nuts and a lot more water. I’m really bad about not drinking as I’m constantly looking for a bathroom when I’m out. I have increased my exercise to at least 6 days a week. So far it’s working.

Im based in Norway, and did some of these a few years ago, but the years have since gone by and the kgs piled on…🙈

Hi, I'm in Upstate New York USA. I've done a few but in the last year my blood pressure has been creeping up as well as my weight. So I figure i need to get my act together and work on getting healthier.
I turned 40 in October, Birthdays don't normally bother me (it's just a number) but this one hit hard... I think partly because of my health...
