Do you have any suggestions for working more mindfulness/awareness into your day? I find that I fall into "autopilot" mode when things are busy and sometimes don't realize until after the fact that I'm missing opportunities. (Like, for example, making sure to drink water before a meal.) I'm working on making more space for myself in my day and would love any suggestions or tips! thank you for doing the calls!

I’m exercising along with trying to eat well to help lose the weight but I notice I actually gain weight after working out the day before… then if I stop exercising the scale goes down

Inflammation always gets me the the next day. I try to up my water in the days I have a hard work out.

When you workout, your muscles tend to want to retain water. You'll also get some temporay inflammation if you worked out properly. This will increase your weight but, in a good way.

Thanks ladies! Yesterday was a somewhat win! I felt like I snacked at night but didn’t get home until til 730 due to kid activities. Already had my protein in the car for supper and did feel like I needed something when I got home so can of yellow beans it was. It was perfect, kinda still felt like my night time snack because of the time, but obviously a much better choice, and down a pound today!!!

Suck it up buttercup!! Haha! Just kidding but really, this is what it amounts to! I have parents weekend at my son’s college the weekend before weigh in! Yikes!!

Events where you know there will be good food is sometimes challenging to not overindulge lol. These weddings will pass but it’s hard when I had a wedding last week and then 2 other weddings back to back (with that weigh in coming up) and all the events have guaranteed great food where it’s really hard to say no because of the emotional connection you have to the meals. I did one wedding today and kept myself accountable with the my health app so no mindless eating lol. Thank you so much for your support :pray:

Yea sometimes it takes a couple days to post, which is frustrating but it always gets posted eventually

Yes, if it's not up on Friday she usually puts it up on Monday. If anyone wants extra motivation through the weekend I highly recommend her Pod Cast, You Can Drop it. She has broken down previous live calls by topic and had tons to listen to.
