I love cross stitching, knitting, and crocheting. I can spend hours working on a project. I'm always doing a project while I watch TV. It's such a great way to stop myself from snacking. Until I get it in my mind that I need a snack. Then it is all I can think about. You were so strong with the snickers craving. My friend suggested the "chocolate diet" to me (not as unhealthy as it sounds). After each meal, eat a small piece of very dark, high-quality chocolate. It's supposed to send satisfaction signals to your brain and indicate the end of the meal because dessert is the typical end to a meal, thereby switching your brain out of hungry mode. It's also supposed to keep you from snacking in between meals because you remain satisfied for longer. I only do it sporadically because I break my meals up into about 5-6 small meals and I don't remember/want to eat chocolate every time I eat. But when I'm REALLY craving chocolate (which happens less frequently now, but still a few times a month) I munch the dark chocolate after I eat and it does help. Way to go with everything! I'd love to see your Snow White project when it's finished, or as you make progress. I'm working on cross stitched Christmas ornaments that look like little winter cupcakes right now!

I loved reading this! I am not quite as detailed on tracking my own trends, but I too weigh every day and try to keep an overall view in mind, but also look at minor details to see what workouts burn the most calories making me lose the most weight, what foods make me retain water, what foods make me eliminate water weight etc. I have read just as many articles recommending weighing in daily as I have read ones supporting weighing once a week. I am happier checking every day to see how each thing I do effects my weight as it appears you are too. Great job by the way for reaching your goal!!! Keep it up, the downward trend over time even with the fluctuations is always a good thing!!!

I have the 7 Minute Workout app too, but have only used it once. I think I need to use it more. It's tough because I'm used to slower paced things like my AeroPilates workouts or Yoga Practices that I like to set my own pace to and take time to breathe into every pose... however, I let my obsession for walking my fitbit steps fall off after I broke a 135 day streak missing by less than 200 steps one day in April. I have noticed without making sure I walk at least 3 miles a day and being a little more relaxed about working out (I do still workout usually 5 days a week on average), I have had much slower weight loss. I think I need to add something else in like the 7 minute workout to change it up. I could do this before my relaxing AeroPilates or Yoga. It sounds like you are doing great at knowing what works best for your body! Good for you!!! That is the key to this health and fitness journey, finding what works best for you and sticking to it!!!
