Have you ever heard of the running group black girls run? I've been running with them at local meet ups. Maybe they have one in your area? :) check it out online at: blackgirlsrun.com.

The group in my area is very positive, and encouraging!

I'm just seeing your comment. sorry. I've heard of it, but never looked into it, bc I didn't know it was all over. I'm headed to the website now for info. THANKS!!!! I'll let you know what I find out.

Again Thanks! I checked it out. The closest one to me is about an hour and some change away. I joined that group. My request is pending, so I'll see what's going on with that once I'm accepted. : ) I hope this group is active cause I'm excited. If not, I just night have to try to start on in my city.
