I started a gratitude journal this month to keep track of everything my body is able to do vs the limits I put on myself. It has helped so much, keeps me thinking positive thoughts each day, which in turn keeps me motivated to keep going and keep trying!

Something I’ve been focusing on this year is to be just 1% better each day. Walk a little faster, drink a little more water, or lift a little heavier. Little changes bring big results!

  • Hope everyone is having an amazing week! I have two awesome things that are motivating me this week! Hopefully I can motivate a few others in the group!

    1) My 7 year old little girl Charley wanted to start working out with me. We are doing a fitness obstacle course and 30 minute cycling class every night now!!

    2) I have officially hit 11 pounds down in this challenge now! That equates to 4.9% so far for me! I have tracked every single meal since 1/1/25, I have worked out 4-5 days a week, I have made sure to drink tons of water, and I still am alcohol free since 1/1/25!! The only time during this challenge I have had what I call a cheat meal was last Sunday when my wife, me, and daughter split a small Buddy's thin crust and salad. I still tracked those calories which was still under 600!
