MY PLAN FOR LOSING ALMOST 13 POUNDS FROM 321.2 TO 308.4

EXERCISE:

Running is out of the question as this would hurt my knees. But walking, I can do. Let see if I can reach the well-known 10k steps a day.


FOOD STRATEGY:

1) Intermittence Fasting: First Meal will be lunch at 1:00pm and early dinner at 6:00pm. No Snacking!

2) Lose the Sodas: This one will be hard, but it well could be the most powerful option of the whole challenge.

3) Learn to like Salad: Will experiment a lot with different salad options. I don't really like them so it will be an acquired taste for me.

4) Reduce Carbs: I am not talking about elimination, but I am sure that my current intake is very high. Limit to no more than 75g. I am sure that at the moment I am having more than 150g.

5) Increase Proteins: Chicken breast will be my friend in this challenge. Also, I plan to eat eggs (the perfect protein supply).

6) Sleep: I always go to bed later than 12 and must wake at 6. Can't do nothing about the 6 but will do my best to add 1 or maybe 2 hours of Zzzz.

So that's it! That is my plan. It is very strict for me, but if I follow it to 80%, I am sure that I will reach my goal and maybe more.

I wanted to write my plan as a way to make myself accountable to my DietBet group. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!

Hi! Can someone explain how the winners received $35, no extra money above the cost of playing the game? I know it’s not designed to make a lot of money off of it, but more to keep you accountable to reach your healthy goals! Which is why I love playing! This is my 15th game and I am excited to say, so far I lost total of 18 pds! I will be joining another game today, get me ready for Spring/Summer coming up! 😁 My last game I only win $1.64 above the cost of playing, but still something!

Here is how the math worked out:
Total pot - $4,865
DieBet's normal portion is 25% of the total pot.
That left $3,648 to split among the 106 game winners.
3,648/106 = $34.42
But, dietbet has a no lose policy. If you win the game you are guaranteed to at least get your original bet back. So everyone who won got $35.00.
In other words we had a high win rate this game!

  • Since they were a dollar today I had an egg McMuffin but I made my own protein pancakes and added some strawberries and blueberries and whipped cream! I make a big batch and that way I could freeze a couple so it'll be ready to go when I'm hungry for a pancake .

  • For breakfast I had some french toast with some strawberries, raspberries and whipped cream. And then for my side I had potatoes with cheese, avocado and eggs from the leftover eggs from the French toast. I only eat two meals, one around 10:00, maybe a snack and then one around four or five for dinner so I can eat a little bit of a bigger late breakfast on the weekends
