I was at an all time high of 330 lbs a few years ago and after cutting out some junk food, got down to 313 lbs the beginning of 2013. That's when I first started dietbet and after 6 months, got down to 250 lbs. I ran 2 5Ks, started playing softball, and was all around more active and fit.....until I went on vacation. After that, I got back to my bad eating habits. Although I still tried to eat healthy, I was eating much bigger portions and started indulging in some junk food. I still remained somewhat active but the weight started creeping back up. Now I'm back up to 288 lbs and am starting to feel the aches and pains I felt at the beginning of 2013. So good news is that I didn't let myself go completely that I went back over 300 lbs. Bad news is that I'm pretty close to it so I really need to focus and get back at it again.
My immediate plan is to watch the calorie intake like I did successfully last year. For exercise, I'm taking a break from softball just to heal up and focus more on exercising daily. First by doing DDP Yoga daily to gain some flexibility, treadmill or some other cardio 3 days, strength training the other 3 days, and a rest day (just yoga).
Anyway, I need to get my head on straight and focus and not let the daily grind get to me that I start getting lazy and not exercise and eat healthy.
