As for your sleep (or lack thereof), I have a few suggestions. Try to limit computer and mobile device use after dinner and NONE one to two hours before bed. They use a blue light technology that stimulates the brain. Also, have you tried/researched melatonin? It can help reset your body clock to let you get better sleep.
