  • Non scale victory tonight. I made dinner for my daughter and her 3 children. Hamburger Stroganoff, egg noodle dumplings, green beans, salad, sour dough bread and homemade milkshakes from Aunt Mary’s milkshake mixer! I haven’t even seen the mixer for 17 years. It came to me this past Tuesday after a family funeral. My cousin’s wife wanted to give it to me since we have 6 granddaughters! It will get a lot of use at my house. It has to be over 50 years old. It’s the tall, green Hamilton Beach 20 lb. Monster. I have SO many memories of my Aunt and her milkshakes. My daughters got to experience them and now our grands. It’s the best gift ever! I made everyone a shake and I didn’t even care that I refrained. I only ate a 5 oz sirloin patty and 1 c of green beans. I was so okay with it. Weigh in tomorrow and I hope I make my goal. I’m a little bit nervous. I know I’m on the right path and will continue to pursue a healthy weight. I hope everyone does well and we move on to the next goal!
