I haven’t done well with the challenges the past couple weeks, but I’ve done rather well with tracking my food and being sensible about what I eat and drink. Oh, how I miss soda, though!! Thankfully, the number on the scale has been dropping slowly, so that motivates me to stay the course. I hope everyone else is seeing good changes too!

Hey Lisa, I'm pleased to hear that the scale is going in the right direction for you. My weight is slowly dropping too but I'm worried I won't make it this DietBet. Either way I'm lighter than when I started so that is a win. I might go low carb for a week to try and boost the weight loss.

I don’t have many healthy meal options (other than loving the Chick-fil-A chicken Cobb salad), but I am trying out lots of different healthy snacks. And by healthy, I mainly mean less refined sugar, lower carb. I’m eating dates, antipasto skewers with Turkey pepperoni and kalamata olives, and red bell peppers or carrots with hummus.

Of course, on the very day I signed up for diet bet game, I’ve hurt my knee a bit and need to let it rest. So I guess that means I have to focus all the more on my eating habits. After indulging in a comforting cup of hot cocoa, I’m focused and logging my calories for today to figure out what all I should eat today. Planning to win!

Hey everyone! I did dietbet a couple years ago and it really helped me stay motivated!! I just had a baby girl in March and am currently at my highest weight I’ve ever been. Got motivation to do my calorie deficit again which worked well for me a couple years ago so thought I would do dietbet again as well!! Here’s to my 40+ pound weight loss journey! Hi everyone, I’m joining the group just a smidge late, but motivation hit, so I had to grab hold of something to keep it going. I had surgery for a torn ACL a couple years ago, and I’ve struggled to rehab since I haven’t had a consistently active lifestyle. I’m hoping this diet bet will help me make better decisions consistently for the next month. And hopefully better decisions will mean less weight and better health.
