I finally got a chance to start watching Fridays call last night (haven’t finished it yet) and she says you have to learn to like salad. I like salad but there are other foods that I know are good for me but I don’t like. The two big ones are salmon and tuna. No matter what I’ve done I can’t make myself eat them. How do you make yourself like something that you don’t like?

Honestly I don’t eat canned tuna either. I’ve tried it so many ways and it still grosses me out, dunno why. You don’t have to eat what you genuinely don’t enjoy. If you don’t like salmon or tuna, eat chicken, turkey, or cod instead… there are plenty of other lean proteins. I think it’s more of an issue when people make blanket statements like “I don’t like vegetables.” There’s so many different kinds of vegetables, prepared endless ways… I don’t like okra so I don’t eat it but I eat plenty of other veggies. When you force yourself to eat something you hate, you associate healthy eating with eating things you hate. Find healthy things you love.

Yeah if those are the only 2 things you really don't like I wouldn't force, there are plenty of alternatives
