Today I hit my goal!! I now have to maintain through XMAS Eve. Ugh. I am working out every day and tracking every morsel. So glad I did this over the holidays, for I usually gain. This will be a new tradition for me to bet big over the holidays to keep me accountable.

I completely understand Janet !!! What I do for this stuff is try and make healthy alternatives! Like using sugar free juice in cocktails or make sugar free desserts! Also don’t try and “save “ your calories, that can cause you to eat too much in the long run, make small portions of what you want !

I just retired and got back from a month long trip where I gained 11lbs! I need to lose that plus some! I am very motivated since none of my clothes fit.
For late night snacking I have been successful with saving calories for a chocolate good life protein shake. I heat it up in the microwave so it comes out like a hot chocolate! It's a great treat with 30grams of protein to curb the hunger pains!
I also just made an egg sandwich for 26 grams of protein and under 300 calories. I baked egg whites, cottage cheese and everything bagel seasoning for the bread. Filled it with egg, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, capers and cheese so yummy! Will definitely make again.
