I've still got a pound to lose, but I'm really proud of myself even if I don't make it this time. We had a bathroom flood in our house two weeks ago, and our lives have been chaos trying to deal with it all. But I didn't let myself stress eat, so I'm happy because I still made progress during a hard situation. 😁

Life is messy! Congratulations for keeping your emotions (and diet) in check. Based on an earlier post I think you just need to do laps around your house and pee a little and you will make it!

I have a work party next weekend and a dress I bought many years ago finally fits me! I was also able to wear a shirt from an artist residency I got years ago but had never been comfortable enough. So happy with the non scale victories!!

I completely understand Janet !!! What I do for this stuff is try and make healthy alternatives! Like using sugar free juice in cocktails or make sugar free desserts! Also don’t try and “save “ your calories, that can cause you to eat too much in the long run, make small portions of what you want !

Finally!!! I had been stuck for almost 2 weeks at the same weight even with a low calorie diet and lots of exercise. I was as getting pretty frustrated. Today I woke up and was a little over 1lb down!

  • Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend?

    Weekends are a great time to add in healthy activities that you may not have time for during the week. Whatever your weekend looks like, make it a great one and plan ahead so you'll stay on track.

    Some ideas to nourish you, mind, body and soul:

    -Discover a new workout video
    -Turn up the music and dance like no one's watching (one of my favorites)
    -Create a fitness challenge for yourself and complete it both Saturday and Sunday
    -Step into the kitchen and create a recipe with healthy foods you already have (hint, use Google for inspiration)
    -Journal (if you're not sure what to write, use gratitude as your inspiration)
    -Read a book
    -Watch something that makes you laugh!
    -Learn something new

    And always remember to drink your water!
