Good Morning Team! Happy Wednesday today we are officially 1 week into our game. Ideally at this point you'd want to be at 25% of your goal. Our weight can fluctuate; the first week can be water weight. Heading into this second week be realistic that the scale might not move as quickly as it did the first.

Everyday that we have in this game is so important to give 100% (even on the days that feel hard)
I have more hard days than I would like to admit & what keeps me pushing forward is knowing my health is improving everyday. I have come very far in my own weightloss (lots of ups and downs) and I can't give up now.
Where is everyone at with their goal? You don't have to share specific weights but let me know what % you are and what your plan is for our 2nd week.

I have been walking consistently and eating high protein/low carb meals. I've mentioned before but I tend to eat the same things over and over when I am working towards a goal. I made a bunch of turkey burgers last night and had them with a big salad for dinner, it was so good! I used mixed greens, tomatoes, avocado, feta cheese, black olives and a light balsamic dressing. I just try to switch my protein choices up to keep it somewhat exciting.

I am down 4 lbs! Timing is kinda wonky as I just got my period, but now I feel more motivated to get my workouts in now that pms is over! Did a good hour long strength training last night and been doing well on my diet. 6 lbs away from goal!

  • I'm at 30%. I follow Weight Watchers on tracking my food. I'm staying within my points and drinking 100ozs of water a day. I'm doing daily workouts. Let's do this! I keep forgetting to share! Dinner tonight in the pic.

You can actually weigh in only at the end of the game but as a member there are drawings every week if you submit an official (with pix) weigh-in. To be entered in the week’s you need to weigh-in by Jan 8. It should say up in the top of your page in the teal green banner. If you want you can submit an official (just type in your lbs) weight everyday, but this is not required & doesn’t get you in the drawing.

  • Hi everyone!

    I’m in very early stages of my fertility journey and likely about to start IVF. I want to get to the healthiest version of myself prior to getting pregnant (hopefully) to have a great foundation while pregnant. I’ve lost 45 lbs this year but still have a long way to go as I’m still in the 240’s (5’7). This is my first diet bet and thought this would be a great kickoff to 2025! I’ve done this weightless before but unfortunately gained it and then some due to very difficult life situations that occurred and worsening pcos symptoms, but no more excuses!! It’s time to get it done!

  • Happy New Year! Hope everyone is having a great relaxing first day of the year.

    Day 1 🎉 we went out last night and had a great time with our close friends. Rang in the New Year but now back to reality Vince and I are headed to the grocery store to get food for the week. I probably should get into the meal prep lifestyle again even if it’s only for this month.

    I’ll be posting here and on our IG dietbet page @isfrannyfityetdietbet make sure you’re following there if you’d like.

    So plan for today is grocery shop, get a treadmill workout in and cook some food for the week.

Mackenzie K and Amy... I totally agree!! I am at my heaviest, right now. Franny, you were definitely one of my motivating factors when I got down to my goal in 2021. I need to get back there and stay there! I'm looking forward to a better lifestyle! Thank you, Franny, for hosting! :muscle:
