I have gotten a little off track the last week. I can still make this bet if I really dial in. Keeping the motivation is always so hard for me. I'm starting with a big glass of water before work and packing my protein powder and blender for a protein shake at lunch. I'm also saying no to all sweets today!

Helped a friend pack last weekend and throughout the week…and ate too much cake. She had an amazing homemade carrot cake from Easter. Felt like a reward for all the hard work we were doing. Threw me off a bit. I’ve been back on my mindful eating the last three days and I’m feeling more balanced, empowered, and less bloated. Love this feeling. I even denied cake yesterday and that felt amazing.

I made goal! So happy. My clothes are fitting better, I can move better, I’m very pleased with my progress. And by eliminating processed grain food, there’s less inflammation and my joints are thanking me. I actually was able to run a bit with my dog. At 70, that’s not a thing I do a lot. lol.

Best wishes for everyone in this group. Find a plan and stick with it. Eliminating grains and sweets works for me. Find what works for you. And remember to keep moving!

Hi! I upload my photo before the challenge even started but I’m just joining the challenge because I had family over and I gained weight with them here 😭 how hard is it to do diet when vacations? You really need to have strength to resist every temptation… and more if you’re uncle is the kind of guy that wants to start the day with a croissant ? lol
Anywaysssss I hope the 3ish weeks that I have left are enough to lose my 4% that know is probably a 6% 🙈

I love salads, but my fave veggie tip is to shred about a half cup of carrots on the fine side of the grater and then add them and some frozen blueberries to my half cup of oatmeal before I cook it in the microwave. It adds a nice sweetness and adds volume! After cooking, I top it with some almond milk, banana, and a T of chopped walnuts. Dang, now I'm craving it! :D

    12 piece grilled nugget meal —> 8 piece
    Large fry —> medium fry
    Chick-fil-a sauce —> ketchup
